楊曉超曾在王岐山主政中紀委期間（2015年7月左右）出任中紀委秘書長（明確為正部長級），並作為重要助手參與巡視工作。
由2018年到2022年， 楊曉超曾經任命為中央紀委副書記、秘書長，國家監委副主任，中央巡視工作領導小組成員。
由王岐山主持的學習貫徹《中國共產黨》巡視工作條例會議之中，明確顯示王岐山是代表中國共產黨。王岐山委以重任的秘書長楊曉超，並不是那個周亮！
