根據香港大學學術庫，彭詠枝在2006年才提交畢業論文。
根據香港大學百年週刊，彭詠枝在2011年獲得傑出青年研究員獎。週刊簡介內容描述彭詠枝曾擔任多家製藥公司的胃腸癌諮詢委員會成員！由2006年到2011年這5年期間，應該是彭詠枝的醫生實習期間，她已經出版了40份國際醫學文章，平均一年8份。
而且，彭詠枝在醫生實習期間的5年時間內，已經可以擔任多間製藥公司胃腸癌諮詢委員會成員。有其母必有其女，兩位都是天才！
Dr Pang has served on the gastrointestinal cancer advisory boards of various
pharmaceutical companies. She has published over 40 papers in international journals; received numerous Young Investigator Awards at various conferences; and been an invited speaker at international conferences such as the Annual Meetings of the American and Japanese Associations of Cancer Research. She has recently obtained a large grant from the National Foundation for Cancer Research of the USA for studying circulating CSCs.
