Medical Diagnosis & Prescription Automation System is not a simple business automation application. It requires high quality of medical information, professional judgements, statistic support and medical certifications. It must be subject to certain rules, regulations and principles.

There are many policies and procedures in the Hospital Authority to restrict the daily medical operations in the hospitals and clinics because HA needs to protect their staff from any judicial charges. All medical practitioners including doctors and nurses have to follow the  Code of Professional Conduct for Physicians. There are definitely many approval procedures and processes within HA.

It is completely abnormal and terrifying that the Medical Diagnosis & Prescription Automation System can be implemented so easily and carelessly under the governance of the Hospital Authority. Someone should have bypass the proper approval process.
