From a religious perspective, God created only men and women. Marriage is between a man and a woman.
In my opinion, homosexuals and transgender people can go to church and listen the teachings from the priests. But the church should not recognize the same-sex marriage because it violates the morale standard stated in the Bible.
On the other hand, the legal regulations can be different from religious regulations. This is decided by the Legislative Council members.
