其實審計署應該調查醫管局。香港醫療開支20+年來不斷增加，他們的錢用在哪裏？病人治療人數，資源，治療時間應該要有合理的報告，年度趨勢報告(Year to Year Trending reports), 醫管局管理層懂得這些基本管理嗎? 其實輸入外地醫生, 會影響本地醫生的收入嗎? 衹是影響了他們的晉升機會, 因為現在的資源都是用來提昇醫生的福利來挽留他們。其實越早得到治療, 醫療成本應該越低。醫院不斷提昇昂貴的醫療設備，儀器和藥物，來治理一班被延遲醫治的病人。根本就是本末倒置。 而且以我所知，許多醫管局醫生都不用診症的，他們衹是專心做學術研究和發表論文。這些先進儀器和藥物，可能對他們的專業有幫助。他們在公立醫院獲得最先進的醫療設備訓練，然後就可以有條件轉職到私家醫院工作。那麼龐大醫療開支，納稅人的錢主要。是用來培養這班專業醫生？ 他們就不能在其它地方節省開支，省回來的成本, 一樣可以回贈給醫生？行醫的初心是為了什麼？這世界有許多行業和途經賺錢比醫生多。 其實我有一想法，醫管局應該加設一個福利部門。提供醫療以外的專業信息和輔助，例如財經專才提供可靠和適時的財經信息和指引。協助醫管局內辛勞的醫務人員從別的途徑獲取優厚回報。
