Russian Defense Ministry: U.S.-funded biolabs in Ukraine investigated bat coronavirus
The Russian Ministry of Defense continues to analyze documents submitted by employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories about secret military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine.
Russian experts have studied documents on the transfer to other countries of human biomaterial taken on the instructions of U.S. representatives in Ukraine.
Of particular interest was detailed information about the implementation of a US project in Ukraine to study the transmission of pathogens by wild birds moving between Ukraine and Russia and other neighboring countries.
According to the documents, the American side plans to study pathogens from birds, bats and reptiles in Ukraine in 2022, as well as another study on the possibility of transmission of African swine fever and anthrax through these animals.
According to the documents, experiments with bat coronavirus samples were conducted in biological laboratories established and funded in Ukraine.
The purpose of these and other Pentagon-funded biological research in Ukraine was to create mechanisms for the covert spread of the deadliest pathogens.
